As part of our practical media coursework we were given a storyboard, script, camera and location and asked to shoot a sequence in groups. I was the director of our group. This is our sequence:

Film Poster

This poster was made using elements from four other film posters (Straw Dogs, The Wild Bunch, The Anatomy of a Murder and The Exorcist)

As part of a digital photography club at school a friend and I made an advert for Sainsbury's using photgraphs we had taken ourselves:

Elephant Poster

We were tasked with making a poster on photoshop for a film called 'Elephant.' This was challenging because we were only allowed to use images which we had taken ourselves and we had to come up with our own tag line.

Introduction

My name is Rory Skeoch, I'm studying media studies because i've always been interested in films and filming. Also, i'm interested in persuing a carreer in film, so media is essential for me to do this.
My only previous experiences of media have been TV acting jobs, such as adverts. This experience showed me the variety of jobs within the media and inspired me to take it for my A-Level years.
